Introduction
Welcome to SpendFlow (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a receipt scanning and spending report service operated by OneSoftWay. These Terms govern your use of our website and mobile app. By using SpendFlow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Acceptance of terms
By using SpendFlow, you affirm that you are of legal age and able to enter into this agreement. If you use SpendFlow on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Use of services
License. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SpendFlow for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the service without our prior written consent.
Prohibited conduct. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes the rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or to another user’s account or receipts
AI-read information
SpendFlow uses artificial intelligence to read receipts. AI can make mistakes: totals, dates, taxes, merchants, or line items may be read incorrectly or not at all. You are responsible for reviewing the information before relying on it, including for tax, accounting, or expense-reimbursement purposes. SpendFlow is not tax, accounting, or financial advice.
Your content
You keep ownership of the receipts and information you add to SpendFlow. You grant us permission to store, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the service for you, including sending receipt images to our AI provider for reading as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in SpendFlow, our website, and related intellectual property.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Paid plans
If SpendFlow offers paid plans or features, the price and billing terms will be shown to you before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by those stores and are also subject to their terms, including their refund and cancellation policies.
Account security
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details and the email account you sign in with secure, and for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Service availability
We work to keep SpendFlow available, but we do not guarantee continuous, secure, or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or unforeseen issues may affect availability. Keep your own copies of receipts you are legally required to retain.
Third-party services
SpendFlow relies on third-party services, including Google (AI reading), cloud hosting, and email delivery. We are not responsible for interruptions or changes caused by those providers.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, SpendFlow — including damages resulting from information read incorrectly by AI.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of SpendFlow or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using SpendFlow and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
Modifications to the terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for significant changes, notify you by other means. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any legal action arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Entire agreement
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and SpendFlow regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
